ELIGIBILITY:
A&P and the New York Jets Home Game Ticket and VIP Tailgate Party Giveaway (hereafter, "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of New Jersey, New York and Connecticut who are 18 years of age or older as of 9/25/09. Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of New York Jets LLC ("Sponsor"), the National Football League, its member professional football clubs, NFL Ventures, L.P., The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc., Project Support Team, Inc., and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, wholesalers, retailers, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies (hereafter collectively, "Released Parties"), and each such individual's immediate family members (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win. Void outside NJ, NY, CT and where prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply. Participation constitutes full and unconditional agreement to, and acceptance of, these Official Rules.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
Sweepstakes begins 12:00:00 am (midnight) Eastern Time ("ET") on 9/25/09 and ends 11:59:59 pm ET on 12/3/09 (hereafter, "Promotion Period"). The Promotion Period will be divided into ten (10) Weekly Periods (each, a "Weekly Period") (see chart below).
TWO WAYS TO ENTER:
1) Automatically receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry for each Weekly Period's eligible product purchased (while supplies last) during the Promotion Period at participating A&P, Waldbaum's and Pathmark retail stores located in NJ, NY and CT (hereafter, "Store(s)") using, as applicable, your A&P Bonus Savings Club Card, Waldbaum's Valued Shopper Club Card or Pathmark Advantage Club Card (collectively, "Club Card(s)"). A Club Card must be used when purchasing an eligible product to receive an automatic entry. For each Weekly Period there will be different eligible products available. For a list of each Weekly Period's eligible products, see the Stores' weekly circulars or visit the Stores' Customer Service Desk. For Club Card details, see a Store associate. Only purchases made with a Club Card issued to an identifiable end user and that are processed and submitted through The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Inc.'s ("A&P") transaction processing system during the Promotion Period are eligible for automatic entry. Club Cards or Club Card numbers that are stolen, fraudulent, tampered with or otherwise altered are not eligible for automatic entry; OR 2) To enter the Sweepstakes without making an eligible purchase and receive one (1) entry, hand print your name, complete mailing address, telephone number (including area code), date of birth and the words "Home Game Ticket and VIP Tailgate Party Giveaway" on a plain 3"x 5" piece of paper and mail it in a sealed, stamped and hand printed #10 envelope to: A&P and the New York Jets Home Game Ticket and VIP Tailgate Party Giveaway, P.O. Box 17110, Bridgeport, CT 06673-7110. Enter as often as you wish, however, each automatic entry must be transacted by 11:59:59 pm ET on the last day of the applicable Weekly Period and each mail-in entry must be mailed separately and received by the date listed on the chart below to be eligible for that Weekly Period's drawing. You may obtain a Store's Club Card for free by visiting that Store's Customer Service Desk
No photocopied, computer generated facsimiles, mechanically reproduced, or mass entries permitted. Your use of your Club Card to make a purchase and/or your submission of a 3"x 5" mail-in entry constitutes your consent to participate in the Sweepstakes and your consent for A&P and Sponsor to obtain, use, and transfer your name, address and other information for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, late, misdirected, stolen, postage-due, or mutilated entries or mail; garbled, incomplete or inaccurate transactions or purchases; failure to process a transaction or purchase; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission, third party transaction classification, transaction processing, or communication; technical, network, electronic or mechanical malfunctions; failures or malfunctions of phones, phone lines, or telephone systems; typographical, printing or other errors in these Official Rules, in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; human-processing error; failures of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by equipment, programming used in the Sweepstakes, human error, or otherwise. Released Parties are also not responsible for any other errors or problems in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or problems that may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the winners, or the cancellation or postponement of any game. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute as to who submitted a particular cardholder entry, such entry will be deemed to be submitted by the primary person in whose name the Club Card used to enter the Sweepstakes was issued.
Winner Selection:
Five (5) potential Weekly Prize winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during each applicable Weekly Period (as set forth below) (for a total of fifty (50) Weekly Prize winners) with the first drawing on or about 10/12/09 and the last drawing on or about 12/14/09. Non-winning entries from one drawing will be entered into subsequent drawings. All drawings will be conducted by Project Support Team, Inc., an independent judging organization. By participating, entrants agree to the terms of these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor and judges, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Potential winners will be notified by telephone and/or email and/or overnight mail and/or regular mail. Odds of winning any drawing will depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable drawing.

Prizes: Fifty (50) total Weekly Prizes; Five (5) Prizes per Weekly Period:
Four (4) tickets and VIP tailgate passes to a regular season NY Jets home game. Estimated Retail Value ("ERV") equals $1,400 per prize. Limit (1) prize per person, immediate family member, or household. Winners are responsible for travel to/from the designated game. Exact game and seat locations to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All prize details are at Sponsor's sole discretion. All costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of the prize not specified herein as being awarded, including, but not limited to, all federal, state and local taxes, any transportation, food, beverages, souvenirs and/or gratuities are each winner's sole responsibility. Each winner agrees to timely provide any information as may be required for Sponsor to comply with any reporting, filing or withholding obligations related to such taxes. Tickets and passes are subject to terms and conditions specified thereon. Winner and guests agree to comply with all venue rules and regulations and, in accordance therewith, agree not to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the designated game. Winner and guests will be escorted out of venue by Sponsor or its designated agent(s) for improper conduct and/or violation of federal, state or local laws (including, but not limited to, the unlawful possession, use, or distribution of illicit drugs, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and alcohol), as Sponsor determines in its sole discretion, and will forfeit his/her prize. Unused tickets and/or passes cannot be refunded, exchanged or applied towards tickets or passes for any subsequent event. If unused, tickets and passes cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged for cash value or substitute tickets or passes. Total ERV of all Prizes: $70,000.
Miscellaneous:
No transfer, assignment, cash redemption, or substitution of prizes (or portion thereof) is permitted, except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or applicable portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Potential winners will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Waiver and (where legal) Publicity Release within three (3) days of date of issuance of notification. Non-compliance with the foregoing, the inability to contact a potential winner within a reasonable period of time, noncompliance with these Official Rules or return of a prize or prize notification as non-deliverable may result in disqualification and, at Sponsor's discretion, awarding of prize to an alternate winner for the drawing at issue. By entering, each entrant agrees that, 1) Sponsor and its designees may use (unless prohibited by law) entrant's name, city and state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other purposes in any media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without further compensation, permission or notification, and 2) the Released Parties shall have no liability and will be held harmless by entrant for any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to entrant or any other person or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize (including, but not limited to, attendance at a game/event or any travel or activity related thereto) or participation in the Sweepstakes or use of the rights granted herein. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, and/or terminate the Sweepstakes (or portion thereof) for any reason, including if viruses, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes and, in the case of termination, at its discretion, select the winners for the drawing(s) at issue from eligible non-suspect entries for the applicable drawing(s) received prior to the event that required such termination. CAUTION: Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, A&P and the Sponsor each reserves the right to seek damages (including attorneys' fees) and/or other remedies from any such person(s) responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law.
